About the Author

Prophetess Abigail (Sheron Usongo) is a minister of the Gospel, prophetic voice, author, and founder of Grace Liberty Ministry. Her life is a living testimony of God’s ability to turn seasons of deep pain into platforms of divine purpose.

Her journey into ministry was not born out of comfort or convenience, but through one of the most challenging seasons of her life. After experiencing the painful breakdown of her marriage, she found herself in a place many would consider the end of the road , homeless and living in a women’s refuge with her children.

What appeared to be devastation became divine preparation.

In that place of brokenness, God began to reveal Himself to her in a deeper and more personal way. It was in the silence of pain and uncertainty that the Lord began to birth within her a calling she had never imagined.

Through divine encounters, prayer, and a growing hunger for God’s presence, Prophetess Abigail began to understand that the very trials she had endured were not meant to destroy her, but to shape her for the assignment God had prepared.

Out of that season, God placed within her heart a message that has now become the foundation of her writings and ministry:

Purpose is often birthed in pain.

Today, she serves as the founder of Grace Liberty Ministry, where she is committed to teaching the Word of God, strengthening believers, and helping people discover their identity and calling in Christ. Through prophetic ministry, teaching, and writing, she carries a passion to see lives restored, faith revived, and purpose awakened in those who feel forgotten or broken.

Her books and teachings are deeply rooted in biblical truth, personal testimony, and the conviction that God specializes in restoring what seems lost.
